ABOUT CHEMICAL PEELS ↘

Our chemical peels renew the surface of your skin to brighten dullness, even out tone and texture, and target concerns like dark spots, acne and fine lines. At Haus of Aesthetics Med Spa in San Antonio, we offer BioRePeel® Blue and Gold for little to no downtime, and the Perfect Derma™ Peel for deeper renewal.

HOW IT WORKS ↘

Our chemical peels use carefully balanced acids to loosen dead, damaged skin cells so fresh, healthy skin can come through. BioRePeel® resurfaces and hydrates without visible peeling for most clients. The Perfect Derma™ Peel is a medium-depth peel with glutathione that targets pigmentation, acne and aging and is safe for all skin types.

THE TREATMENT EXPERIENCE ↘

  1. Your visit begins with a skin analysis so your esthetician can recommend the right peel for your skin type and goals.

  2. Your esthetician cleanses your skin and applies the peel in thin layers. You may feel mild tingling or warmth that fades quickly.

  3. BioRePeel® takes about 30 to 60 minutes and the Perfect Derma™ Peel about 40 minutes. You can add microneedling to BioRePeel® for extra results.

WHAT TO EXPECT ↘

After BioRePeel®, your skin looks brighter and smoother right away with little to no downtime. After the Perfect Derma™ Peel, your skin may look red or slightly darker at first. Peeling usually starts around day 3 and is finished by about day 7, revealing clearer, more even skin. Individual results vary.

  • BioRePeel® has little to no downtime, so you can go right back to your day. With the Perfect Derma™ Peel, peeling usually begins around day 3 and is done by about day 7, so plan a week without big events.

  • BioRePeel® Blue or Gold is ideal for a quick glow, smoother texture and hydration with no downtime. The Perfect Derma™ Peel is best for dark spots, melasma, acne and signs of aging. Your esthetician will help you choose at your visit, and most clients repeat peels every 4 to 6 weeks.

  • For the first week, or until your skin stops peeling, avoid the following:

    • Direct sun or tanning. Wear SPF 30 or higher daily

    • Picking, pulling or scrubbing peeling skin

    • Strenuous exercise and heavy sweating

    • Saunas, steam rooms, or hot yoga

    • Retinol, acids or exfoliating products

    • Waxing or other facial treatments

    Use the gentle cleanser, moisturizer and post-peel products we recommend. Tightness and peeling are normal. Call us with any questions or concerns.
