HOW IT WORKS ↘

Sculptra® is made of poly-L-lactic acid, a biocompatible material that helps your skin rebuild its own collagen. Instead of filling an area right away like a hyaluronic acid filler, it works gradually over several months. Because the volume comes from your own collagen, results look soft and natural.

THE TREATMENT EXPERIENCE ↘

  1. Your visit begins with a consultation to assess volume loss and skin quality, and to plan how many sessions and vials you'll need.

  2. Your injector places Sculptra® in targeted areas with a fine needle or cannula, then massages the area to spread the product evenly.

  3. Each visit takes about 60 minutes. Most clients need a series of 2 to 3 sessions spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart.

WHAT TO EXPECT ↘

You may look fuller right after treatment because of swelling and fluid, which fades within a few days. Your real results build gradually over the next few months as new collagen forms, and they can last up to 2 years. At home, follow the 5-5-5 rule: massage the area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days. Individual results vary.

  • Sculptra® results can last up to 2 years after you complete your treatment series. Results appear gradually over 2 to 3 months as your skin builds new collagen, and many clients choose a single maintenance session down the road.

  • Most clients need 2 to 3 sessions spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. Your injector will recommend the number of sessions and vials at your consultation based on your goals and how much volume you want to restore. Booking your series in advance keeps you on schedule.

  • For the first 24 hours, avoid the following, and keep up with the 5-5-5 massage routine:

    • Excessive sun, tanning beds or extreme cold

    • Pressing hard on or sleeping face-down on the treated areas the first night

    • Strenuous exercise

    • Saunas, steam rooms, or hot yoga

    • Alcohol consumption

    • Facial treatments or massages

    Mild swelling, tenderness or bruising is normal and fades within a few days. You can return to most normal activities the same day. Call us with any questions or concerns.
