CoolPeel® is a CO₂ laser treatment that refines pores, smooths texture, softens fine lines and fades sun damage with minimal downtime. At Haus of Aesthetics Med Spa in San Antonio, it's a great fit for clients who want visible laser results without taking a week or more off like a traditional CO₂ laser.
HOW IT WORKS ↘
CoolPeel® uses short, high-powered pulses from a fractional CO₂ laser to remove a very thin layer of damaged skin without overheating the surrounding tissue. This signals your skin to make new collagen and replace damaged cells, while keeping recovery short. Settings are customized to your skin and goals.

Your visit begins with a consultation to review your skin, history and goals, and to confirm that CoolPeel® is the right fit for you.
Numbing cream may be applied for comfort. The laser itself takes only a few minutes for the face and neck, and most clients describe it as quick, warm pulses.
Your visit takes about 60 minutes, including prep. Most clients see the best results from a series of 3 to 4 treatments spaced about 4 weeks apart.
WHAT TO EXPECT ↘
Your skin may look red and feel warm, like a sunburn, for a day or two, then feel dry or slightly rough as it renews. Most clients return to normal activities right away and wear makeup again within a few days. Smoother, brighter skin shows within about a week, and collagen keeps improving over the following months. Individual results vary.

Most clients have a day or two of redness and warmth, followed by a few days of dryness or a sandpaper-like feel. You can usually go back to work the same day or the next.

Most clients need 3 to 4 treatments spaced about 4 weeks apart for the best results, then a maintenance treatment as needed. Your provider will recommend a plan at your consultation based on your skin and goals.

For the first week, protect your healing skin and avoid the following:
Direct sun or tanning. Wear SPF 30 or higher daily
Picking or scrubbing dry or flaking skin
Strenuous exercise for the first 24 to 48 hours
Saunas, steam rooms, or hot yoga
Retinol, acids or exfoliating products
Other facial treatments or peels
Keep your skin moisturized with the gentle products we recommend. Redness and dryness are normal and fade within a few days. Call us with any questions or concerns.
